The Student Moto Tech Challenge
Get ready to dive into real-world motorsport action where classroom theory meets the racetrack. Students tune, test, and race high-performance bikes while sharpening skills in teamwork, system-level thinking, and engineering areas like ECU, suspension, sprockets, and rider performance. The event is set to take place at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore, from February 9 to 10, 2026, and promises to be India’s answer to university-level motorcycle development contests.
Who Can Participate?
The competition is open to engineering colleges across India, with each institution allowed to register one official team. Participants must be currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students.

DAY 1 & 2
HANDS-ON WORKSHOP
Day 1 & Day 2 will feature certified workshops conducted by international experts from the automotive and motorsport industries, giving students deep exposure to tools, systems, and best practices used in professional racing garages.
DAY 3
EVALUATION
Day 3 is where the green lights come on: Teams will be evaluated through:
1. Pit Stop Management – Time, coordination, and accuracy under pressure,
2. Drag Run – Straight-line performance and bike optimization,
3. Time Attack – Fastest lap wins; the ultimate test of setup and rider synergy &
4. Team Management – For the sharpest team leader on and off the circuit

The overall winning team will earn a 6-month internship with CRA Motorsports’ racing team in Malaysia, offering students firsthand experience with international racing setups and real-world motorsport operations.
